Texel Studio 3: Texel BodyFit Addon Installation and User Guide

Overview

Texel BodyFit Addon is an additional module (addon) for Texel Studio 3 that automatically obtains body measurements of a scanned person according to GOST and ISO standards. More than 100 body features are supported - circumferences, heights, distances between anthropometric points, etc. The resulting measurements can be visualized in 3D and exported to various formats, such as Microsoft Excel (XLSX) and CSV. Texel BodyFit Addon also enables export of body features for integration with Assol CAD.

3D Scanning for Texel BodyFit Addon

3D scans must meet the following requirements for automatic body measurements:

  • The subject must be scanned in A-pose (feet shoulder-width apart, arms symmetrically positioned at a 30-45 degree angle to the body).

  • The 3D scan must be taken while wearing underwear or tight-fitting clothing (thin, wrinkle-free, and contoured to the body).

  • If the subject has long hair, it must be pulled back into a bun at the back of the head (not on the top), with strands of hair not covering the neck and shoulders.

Example of a 3D scan in A-pose:
